Our Story
Teton Vortex was born from stories like a youth snow goose hunt in Northern California, where friendships, family, and tradition came together in the field. Watching kids like my son light up with excitement—learning the values of safety, respect for the outdoors, and the thrill of the hunt—reminded us that these moments are worth carrying forward. The name Teton pays tribute to the mountains where I grew up, a place that shaped my love for the outdoors, while the Vortex reflects the swirling geese overhead and the energy of shared adventure.
Every hat we release carries a story, stitched in with heritage, connection, and purpose. Each monthly design is inspired by real experiences from our community—hunts, fishing trips, and outdoor journeys that bring people together. Beyond apparel, our mission is to give back: 20% of profits go directly to creating outdoor opportunities for youth and veterans, ensuring the next generation and those who’ve served can experience the same joy, challenge, and renewal that the wild has to offer.
